OCAD: Set Coordinate System

For OCAD exports to work correctly, the map needs to both: a) be georeferenced (have real-world coordinates assigned to the map); and b) have the correct projection (coordinate system set).
Once the map is geo-referenced, to set the coordinate system in OCAD: go to the Map menu -> Set Scale and Coordinate System

Go to the Map menu -> Set Scale and Coordinate System...

Select Real-world coordinates

Set Angle (Magnetic declination)
For New Zealand this in normally in the range of 18º-24º

Choose Coordinate system

For New Zealand, this is commonly New Zealand Grid 2000 (EPSG:2193)
