How to Create an Event
NOTE
Even after they are uploaded, the course details of an event that is marked as a "Competition" will not be visible to or accessible by anyone, other than the event creator, until after the event. But having them uploaded in advance means that people can upload their runs immediately.
Browse to https://otrax.app/#/events
Click Create Event (top right)
Select the IOF XML file.

NOTE
If the source is not georeferenced, with a projection set, the v3.0 IOF XML file upload will give an error as it will not contain sufficient information to place it on the map. In this case exporting as v2.0.3 may prove better as it may contain enough information when used with a selected projection.
- If asked, select the projection used in the file (most likely NZTM2000).
- If there is an error here, it's possible that the source file is not correctly georeferenced. Please check the documentation of your mapping/planning software for details on how to configure this.
- It should then show a satellite map with all the control locations overlayed.
- Please check locations look correct
